Wind River Financial was formed in 1999 by experienced card processing and customer relationship managers from Wisconsin Banking companies, as a way to provide more attractive credit and debit card processing services to area businesses.

Wind River's primary business is to serve as the local provider of credit card processing services for emerging and medium-sized businesses in Wisconsin.

Wind River's product offering enables merchants to accept major credit/debit cards for purchases. Cards accepted include, Visa and MasterCard credit and off-line debit, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. To process all transactions electronically, Wind River offers a complete suite of superior point of sale equipment and software. Merchants with lower volumes of card activity have the flexibility to process transactions via "dial-in" technology.

Business to business card processing solutions are geared to help businesses reduce accounts receivable and bad debt write offs, eliminate costly purchase orders and to facilitate customers preference to pay by credit card.

Included in Wind River's suite of products is a complete e-commerce solution for businesses, including a secure gateway for Web transactions that integrates into a company's current Web environment.

Customer support is provided 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Proactive training by assigned customer service representatives is designed to help businesses qualify for the most favorable processing rates. Equipment and software training can be conducted on-site or via telephone. A quarterly newsletter will highlight cost-savings ideas for businesses, industry trends and updates, equipment notices, and fraud alerts.
